By choosing La Cianella for your stay in Maremma you can take advantage of a series of internal services: breakfast and bar service, typical Maremma dinner with land and sea menu (once a week), tasting of own-produced IGP oil, happy hour, swimming pool, tennis court and five-a-side football pitch, free bicycle rental (upon reservation and subject to availability).
The house
The house dates back to the end of the 19th century and is the central structure of our relais in Maremma. You will be welcomed in refined and tastefully furnished environments thanks to carefully chosen materials: from traditional terracotta enriched by the colors of the characteristic Andalusian cement tiles to modern stoneware that recalls the taste and colors of the local stone up to the current mosaics made of marble for some wall coverings.
The terrace
A point from which to observe and be captivated by the landscape of the hills of the Maremma Toscana during breakfast or sipping an aperitif at sunset .
La fonte
The name of the place, La Cianella, is due to the presence of a nineteenth-century fountain called “Fonte delle Cianelle” .
La Cianella owes its name to the characteristic smooth stone present in some points of the Fonte, on which until recently, the women of Scarlino rubbed the clothes to be washed, while the men collected the water necessary for household chores.
Today the Fonte, restored in strict compliance with the original architectural typology, has become a large multifunctional space, capable of hosting tastings of farm products or business meetings or Yoga and Pilates sessions in total tranquility, depending on the needs .
Your bicycles can be stored in this dedicated, locked room, equipped with a rack and electrical outlets.
